This page explains what data this website collects and how it's used. It covers the public datumplant.co.uk marketing site only — the DatumPlant application has its own in-app terms.
DatumPlant is plant- and formwork-hire tracking software for UK construction. For any privacy question, or to request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at hello@datumplant.co.uk.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, roughly where visitors come from) so we can improve it. We run it in Google's Consent Mode:
Analytics data is processed by Google. We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the consent banner back.
We set no non-essential cookies unless you accept. Your accept/decline choice itself is stored locally in your browser (local storage) so we don't ask again — that's functional, not tracking.
If you submit the enquiry form, we collect the details you provide (such as your name, email and message) so we can respond. Form submissions are handled by our hosting provider, Netlify, and are used only to reply to you — not for marketing unless you ask us to.
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard settings. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Email hello@datumplant.co.uk and we'll action it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
